The Association of Business Leaders in Education (ABLE) take your privacy very seriously. For this reason we collect only the minimum amount of data necessary to enable us to provide you with membership services.

What data do we collect?

We collect personal data such as name, school, job role and contact details;
We collect payment data;

How do we use your data?

We use your data to send you our termly newsletter via HubSpot, alert you to our events and offers, and those events and offers from our partners and/or sponsors that we believe may be relevant or of interest to you. We do not provide our partners and sponsors with your contact details unless you have already given consent for your details to be shared.
We use your payment data to process your membership fees and payments for chargeable events that you have opted to attend such as Business Networking Events.

How is your data secured?

Our data storage for files and emails is provided by Microsoft to the following standards:

• ISO 27001 (Information Security Management)
• ISO 27017 (Cloud Security)
• ISO 27018 (Cloud Privacy)

Who is your data shared with?

Your data is shared with the following organisations for the specific purposes set out below:

HubSpot – for the provision of termly newsletters. Please find the privacy policy for HubSpot here.

A representative from ABLE’s partners sit on the committee and provide funding and/or support in order to continue to provide regular quality events for all of our members. In order for us to analyse membership trends and promote our association to encourage new members to join, your name and school data may be shared with our partners. The partners include Schools Advisory Service, SAAF Education, Breedon, Education Mutual & ATOM IT.

Your right to be forgotten

Should you choose not to renew or to cancel your membership of ABLE you can ask us to ‘forget’ you. All you have to do is email business@able-pro.co.uk
